Compatibility and Software Requirements

Before you start using Call and Message Continuity, ensure your Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and your smartphone share the same Samsung account and are running the latest software versions. This feature is currently only supported on specific models and Android versions, see the Compatibility section for more details.

Enabling Call and Message Continuity on Your Smartphone

Go to Settings. Tap on Advanced features. Select Call and text on other devices. Toggle the switch to enable it.

Setting Up on Your Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e

Go to Settings on your Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. Tap on Advanced features. Select Call and text on other devices. Enable the feature and ensure your smartphone is listed as a connected device.

Permissions and Testing

If you're prompted, grant the necessary permissions for the feature to work properly.

Once set up, you can test the Call and Message Continuity feature by making a call or sending a text from your smartphone and checking if you receive notifications on your Tab S5e.

Compatibility

Call and Message Continuity is currently only available for the following devices and models:

Australian Wi-Fi variant: Galaxy Tab S5e (SM-T830) – Android Version 9.0 Pie, One UI 1.1 Australian variants of: Galaxy A70, S10, S10e, and S10 5G
