I've also come across a competitor named Shark, which has a feature that empties the bin into a larger bin. This is a handy feature for those concerned about frequent emptying, but the higher price point makes it less appealing for many users.

While the initial models of Roomba vacuums required frequent replacements and expensive repairs, the current versions have proven to be robust and reliable. They continue to evolve, providing better cleaning performance and a more user-friendly experience, making them a worthwhile investment for those looking to maintain a tidy home with minimal effort.
